Prez Sez - Keep the wheels rolling!

September 22, 2025 The pic above is from the SFCC Corvettes & Coffee held at Prince of Peace nursing home this past Saturday.  Although few in number the Corvettes that showed up were appreciated and we had a good time visiting with some of the residents and each other.

ALERT - SFCC General Membership Meeting this Wednesday at The Social.  We will discuss nominees for the 2026 Board of Directors and next year’s Black Hills Corvette Classic.  We’re looking for Vice President and Merchandise candidates, but you can run for any office you desire except for Pres and Past Pres - we’re stuck with Mike and John for those 😁.

We had another good turnout for Corvettes going to Mitchell last week for dinner at Bradley’s Bar & Grille with Denny & Elaine. Good food and great friends!

Keep the wheels rolling with plenty more chances to drive your Corvette in the next couple months with the Augustana Parade, the Lifescape Parade and the USD Parade.  Shine your Corvette up and show it off in one of these great parades!  Check the SFCC website Calendar of Events for details.

Plan to be hungry for the SFCC membership meeting on October 12 which will be the famous Lamb Roast at the Sioux Empire Cleaning building in Brandon.  Thanks to Abdulah for hosting this meeting and providing the fantastic roasted lamb!  RSVP, with text only, if you plan to attend to Mike Skiles.  We will nominate the 2026 Board of Directors candidates at this meeting.

Drive & Dine Lamb Roast sponsored by Abdulah and Sioux Empire Cleaning coupled with our October General Membership meeting. Location will be Sioux Empire Cleaning in Brandon, 2:30 – 6:30 PM.

Drive & Dine for Cocktails and Conversation at club sponsor Jerry’s Corvettes in Beresford

Nov. 15, Saturday:

SFCC annual banquet at The Social, 6:00 – 9:30 PM
