Prez Sez - BHCC & Fireworks!

July 23, 2025 A great time was had out in the Black Hills for the Corvette Classic last week. If you

missed it, you missed lots of food, fun & fireworks! The Welcome event included

drawings for a shot at one of the Black Hills jewelry giveaways, held at the breakfast

Saturday morning. Autocross, Vette Street, and great driving to many new poker run

stops were fun before finishing the event with the banquet, live music & fireworks.

Thanks to Barry Konken for coordinating and Jen Johnke and Cheri Beyer for all their

hard work with merchandise!

Coming up soon - our Picnic at The Farmers Market at Falls Park will be held

Wednesday, August 13 at 6:00 pm.

Ordering for 2026 Corvettes has begun and production is scheduled to start August 4.

Chevrolet moved between 100 and 200 2025 ZR1 orders to 2026 so if you're looking to

order one of those you better go see Barry soon.

Two new colors are available for 2026 - Roswell Green and Blade Silver. Who will be

the first club member with one of those?

Summer picnic at Farmers Market at Falls Park in Sioux Falls, 6:00-9:00 PM.

August 26, Tuesday:

Drive & Dine to Waddy’s in Hudson. Depart the theatre parking lot at Dawley Farms at

5:30 PM for a scenic route to Hudson.

Sept. 9, Tuesday:

Drive & Dine to Bradley’s Pub & Grill in Mitchell. Depart the east parking lot of the

Ramkota at 5:30 PM.

Sept. TBD:

Drive & Dine to Hillside Resort on Lake Madison for the resort Car Show. More info

coming.

Sept. 24, Wednesday:

SFCC General Membership meeting, 6:30 PM, at The Social

Oct. 12, Sunday:

Drive & Dine Lamb Roast sponsored by Abdula and Sioux Empire Cleaning coupled

with our October General Membership meeting. Location will be Sioux Empire Cleaning

in Brandon, 2:30 – 6:30 PM.
