Jim Brandenburg, noted wildlife photographer is a favorite son of Luverne, MN. The Brandenburg Gallery is home for 100 of his original photos, cards and videos, in addition to the Luverne War Museum. The old courthouse located at 213 E Luverne Street is the destination of our first Drive & Dine for 2017. The museum closes at 5 PM and the curator says most people spend about 2 ½ hours touring. Dinner will be at the Sterling Café & Grill (comparable to Minerva’s) reservations highly recommended by calling 507-449-0220. If you choose to dine more casually the Bluestem Restaurant (the former Magnolia Steak House) offers a wide variety of menu and cost options.
