Spring Adopt-A-Highway

“…….I had a great time!…..” “….That was fun!.......” Those were just a couple of the positive comments heard following the Spring cleaning of our Club’s adopted highway. The weather was about as perfect as could be hoped for. Our cleaning crew assembled on May 5th and departed at 9:30 for our two mile stretch of SD Hwy 115. Our Spring cleaning historically yields more trash than Fall clean-up and this year was no exception. The short grass leaves few places for the litter to hide and we are able to collect not only new Winter deposits but also items missed under the tall grass of Autumn. "America's Sports Car" the publication of the National Corvette Museum is sent to all members of the Museum with a very targeted audience of Corvette fans. The Sioux Falls Corvette Club is a Lifetime Member of the Museum due the generosity of the SFCC during the formative years of the Museum. Thank you to Greg & Rita Miller and Glen & Mick Hofer for a very enjoyable Spring Road Rally. Twenty two Corvettes and two tin cars made it to our final destination in Ward, SD for a good meal and great camaraderie. It's Corvette season and it appears there's no lack of activities for you to enjoy. These are open to non members and a opportunity to expose prospective new members to the SFCC. SPRING RALLY

After a really, really long winter...weather cooperated! Vettes were purring! Routes were chosen (and so were pages of clues)! It was our annual Spring Rally! Lots of Vettes brought out their owners for great day of driving. Bonus...a fantastic (huge) meal at Feather's Nest in Ward, SD.
